Sarool

My first enterprise consultancy project, redesigning a flagship microscope design system and software UI.

Duration: 2 weeks

Tools: Figma, Figjam, Adobe Illustrator

Scope: Mock case study

Learning more than just driving

Sarool is a French driving lesson booking app available on iOS and Android. In this case study, I show you my approach to design research as well as my rebranding design skills.

After using this driving lesson app daily, I decided to challenge myself and improve its user experience. And to do so I started by mapping out its current structure.

Focusing on what the application should focus on

I focused on a few key points to keep the case study clear and highlight the most important findings and improvements.

Making the obvious..obvious

I started by ranking the most important information provided by the app, while keeping in mind that even the least used ones are often legal documents crucially needed at key moments.

Mapping out clearer and more intuitive user flows

I flipped the app map, starting with the end result and working backward to find the most intuitive path to each goal. This helped streamline the process, removing unnecessary steps and creating clearer, more efficient user flows.

User flows are amazing, wireframes are even more fun

At first I was planning to focus only on research and simple charts, but I ended up creating simple wireframes to better map out my flows and visually "rank" the information.

Kept it simple..until I decided to simply have some fun

Now that the research came to a satisfying end it was time to have some fun and dabble into refining the sarool visual identity as a whole.
